By practicing yoga children learn and master new poses.

Working as a team in a safe,  non-competitive environment is fun and rewarding, growing their self-esteem and confidence with every step.

During yoga, the children are stretching, strengthening, and building their coordination.  Yoga is proven to improve achild's immune system, breathing patterns, and endocrine function.

Yoga is like taking a mental break, giving kids renewed focus, creativity, attention and enthusiasm for learning new things later in the day or even later that week.

We teach the skill of controlled breathing which works really well against stress and anxiety.  Helping them relax and sleep better, this is a skill they will use in their daily life for years to come.

Mindfulness is the alignment of body and mind.  We use yoga to engage the children in our classes to follow their dreams, believe in themselves, and search for positive outcomes.

Yoga is an excellent way of improving coordination and balance.  ​  Working with a range of muscles in the body, it can also encourage their motor skills and development as well.

By focusing awareness on the moment, breaths and poses, children learn to release other thoughts and simply focus on the present.  ​  

Mindful breathing is a form of meditation, which is an incredibly effective relaxation skill.
